Accommodations
The guest lodge at Deer Valley Ranch is equipped with all of the amenities. Our guests will enjoy a beautiful southern view overlooking the valley. Rooms with extra long twin and/or Queen size beds, in the event you would like your non-hunting spouse or companion to accompany you on the hunt.
Rules
There are no firearms allowed in the lodge. At no time, other than when instructed by your guide is your rifle to have a shell in the chamber. Obviously, these rules are in place for the protection of others as well as yourself.
Smoking, or pets are not allowed inside the lodge. If you smoke, you may do so outside or on the deck. Outdoor footwear is not allowed in the lodge.

Cattle, elk and bison graze on our properties and we have had several instances where hunters pick up manure on the soles of their boots, unnoticed.
We make every effort to keep our lodge clean and sanitary for the full enjoyment of all our guests. Footwear should be removed on the porch and camp slippers left in the front entry.

Licenses/Permits
Permits are included in your hunt price, therefore there is no additional charge over and above your contracted hunt rate.

White Tail, Mule Deer and Buffalo
Deer Valley Ranch also has whitetail, mule deer and buffalo hunts as supply warrants. Call/e-mail for availability and prices.

Upland and Migratory Bird Hunting
Assuming your hunt date coincides with Saskatchewan's bird hunting season, there are literally hundreds of thousands of migratory game birds to hunt as well as a selection of upland game birds. Email or call for pricing.

Meat, Hides and Antlers
We will cape out your animal and freeze the hide for transportation home. In addition, at your request we will take the meat to an accredited butcher in Moose Jaw.
If you are unable to utilize all of the meat you may choose to take select cuts and we will deliver the remainder of the carcass, cut and wrapped, at your expense to the local food bank.
Shipping
We will be happy to ship your meat to you anywhere Air Canada flies in North America. Air Canada will place your meat in a freezer until you pick it up. Generally, most hunters take their antlers and cape home with them as extra baggage or leave it for our local taxidermist to prepare. You may take coolers with your meat home with you on the plane if you so desire. |
